June 19th, 2017

The guys tackle 2014's Clown. They discuss the movie, Eli Roth's career, what makes a good clown movie, and throw some shade at Zoombies. This episode has it all. Including a surprise reaction to the movie.

Psycho II

June 11th, 2017

Psycho II might seem like an odd topic for an episode. Even for a horror podcast. The episode has actually been in the works for months. The idea to cover this movie came up a long time ago, and just kept getting push aside. Finally the guys sat down and discussed it. As with anytime they talk about older movies, it's best to watch the movie before listening to the episode. These two tend to spoil everything.

Alien: Covenant

June 6th, 2017

Mark and Shanon spend this episode talking about the new movie, Alien: Covenant. If you are a regular listener to the show you can probably guess how this episode goes. The guys give their thoughts on the movie. We're not sure, but Mark might actually be infected himself as he's still battling some 'mysterious' illness in this episode.

A Nightmare On Elm Street 4

May 27th, 2017

The dynamic duo keep up their monthly tradition leading up to Flashback Weekend by diving into a Freddy flick. This time it's the fourth film in the franchise. The guys have a little bit of differing opinions on it. Plus Mark is near death this episode. Be sure to listen till the end to see if he survives.

100th Episode

May 20th, 2017

It's taken the guys a bit of a time to get to this milestone episode. Longer than some, and not as long as others. But, they made it. To celebrate they start off just chatting about the journey to the 100th episode. They go back and forth about some of their favorite, and not so favorite, topics. Of course it wouldn't be a Horror Heads episode if they didn't get side tracked from time to time.

Flashback Weekend 2016 (Lost Episode)

May 13th, 2017

The guys are rounding the corner on 100 episodes. What better way to close out the double digit episodes than with an episode that was originally published a while ago, and then 'mysteriously' disappeared. This episode was recorded after Flashback Weekend 2016. The dynamic duo made their annual trip to the Chicago area horror convention. They discuss that adventure in this episode.

April 29th, 2017

This isn't the oldest horror movie ever made, but it is the oldest one that the guys have covered to date. They spend a great deal of the episode talking about the movie without actually talking about the movie really at all. You'll see what we mean when you listen to the episode. They also manage to squeeze in regular episode topics John Carpenter, Star Wars, and Guns N Roses.

April 23rd, 2017

We've posted other 'behind the scenes' episodes. Usually you can tell those are just Mark and Shanon chatting it up. As previously stated those episodes are typically the banter between the guys before they actually record the episode for the movie of the week. The last episode was about Tiffany, and this episode is the chat the guys had prior to that episode. There was barely any editing done to this episode. It was too perfect not to post as it's own episode. The guys chat a little about beer. Then the discussion turns to Psycho sequels, Bates Motel, and IT. If you aren't caught up on Bates Motel, or are planning on watching the series be warned that there are spoilers.

April 15th, 2017

This episodes topic might be a head scratcher for some of our fans. Tiffany really isn't a horror icon by any stretch of the imagination. In fact, the few horror related films she has been in most folks probably have never heard of. However, Mark and Shanon are quickly becoming horror icons, and Tiffany has played a major role in their lives over the past 30 years. This episode is dedicated to the pop princess of the 80s, the one and only Tiffany.

A Nightmare On Elm Street 3

April 8th, 2017

Shanon and Mark are stepping into another bad dream with Freddy and the whole gang. A Nightmare on Elm Street Part 3 is the topic this episode. This movie sees the return of Nancy to the franchise. It also introduces us to a couple of young actors/actresses that went on to have great careers outside of horror.
There will be a Nightmare movie a month leading up to Flashback Weekend.
