Strange Brew

They sit down with some brews there ehh, and talk about the Canadian Horror....err Comedy Strange Brew ehh. The only thing better than watching a hockey game would be to grab some Elsinore beer and listen to the show. So take off you hosers and go listen to the episode ehh.

The guys discuss the 1979 movie Alien during this episode. They do spend a bit of time talking about some of the other movies in the Alien franchise. They also spend a little bit of time talking about Christmas movies. It doesn't matter if you think Alien is a Sci-Fi action flick, or a straight up horror flick, you'll like this episode. 


Friday the 13th Part VII - The New Blood

Another Friday the 13th on the calendar means another Friday the 13th episode. The guys sit down to talk about Tina and all her mystical powers in Friday the 13th Part 7. Shanon and Mark show their love for the franchise. They also get into a discussion about cliche horror characters, and how they started to become self aware over the years.

We start 2017 with another behind the scenes episode. Mark and Shanon sit down and discuss a few things from 2016. They spend a little time talking about Christmas. Then revisit Curtains. They recap the 2016 episodes of the podcast. They wrap stuff up by talking about Carrie Fisher. 


Rogue One

It's December which means it's time for a new Star Wars movie. The guys weren't sure if they were going to do an episode about Rogue One until they saw the movie. It's final. This is going to be a yearly occurrence. The guys talk all things Rogue One and Star Wars. This was recorded prior to Carrie Fisher having her heart attack. Our thoughts go out to her. We are wishing her a speedy recovery. She's our princess.

Black Christmas

It's been awhile since they guys have talked about a Canadian horror film. This episode it's all about 1974's Black Christmas. Curtains, another Canadian horror film, gets mentioned about 47 times during this episode. Shanon and Mark rank some other Canadian horror movies. They also discuss familiar faces in Black Christmas, and then talk about actors and actresses that started in horror that went on to become big stars. The discuss the movie itself, and how it 'influenced' Halloween.


Silent Night, Deadly Night

There's a nip in the air, and snow on the ground. Could only mean that it's time for some Christmas themed horror. The guys discuss the 1984 highly controversial film Silent Night, Deadly Night. Shanon talks about spending one summer with his grandparents, and the guys spend some time discussing getting older and how that changes your perspective of some things in the movies.


Dead Silence

Well turns out that these two dummies like talking about dummies. This episode is focused on the 2007 movie Dead Silence, which is about a ventriloquist dolls. They talk about Shanon's inability to pass tests, Mark's law enforcement career, and the history of Netflix before they get into the discussion of the movie itself. Then they talk about other 'dummy' movies. Grab a cold one, and enjoy!


Motel Hell

Shanon and Mark sit down to talk about Motel Hell. The guys give their thoughts on this old spoof horror comedy. Shanon discusses the give away that he had planned for the show, but it turns out that he's just a greedy bastard. 


The Fog

November 19th, 2016

After starting things off with a movie they didn't care for Shanon and Mark go back to their roots. This time around it's all about another John Carpenter classic. The guys journey into The Fog. This episode contains a couple of bonuses. Not only do you get Shanon's crappy impressions, but Mark pulls one out of nowhere. Also, there just might be a tune at the end.
